ABOUT US

In 1992 God planted the first seed for Brave Heart Kidz@peace Ministries. The word He gave for the ministry lies in Isaiah 54. But a long road of preparation was needed and it was only in 2005 when the ministry started to get going. We started to visit several homes which operate on the same principle we believed the Brave Heart homes must operate on.

The starting point of our mission is the Hex River Valley, the town, informal settlements and farms developing according to the conviction of the directors to assist in the needs of other areas.

The need in the Hex River Valley became crucial and a group of people came together who all shared the same vision. This started the planning process. Now 6 years later, the first home of, which we believe will be the first of many homes, has been opened and is operational.

Our Vision

Our vision at Brave Heart is to be able to care for children in need whether they are orphans, ill, in need of foster care, in need of safety or whatever need they may have and by doing this contributing to the child’s emotional, spiritual and other needs.

Our Mission

What are we?

We are a children’s house of safety which can serve as a temporary shelter for children who are in need.

The need for a house of safety for children in the Hex River Valley became crucial and a group of concerned people started the planning process. Now the home is open and running. Kidz@peace (Article 21 non-profit company) is operating in De Doorns as Brave Heart Home.
